My old lady cat.

A year ago today my 21 year old cat, Toontz, died. I'm not going to be maudlin, just acknowledging that my old girl has been missed. Even though I have two kittens that have turned out to be such a joy, it doesn't mean I don't miss her.

On another note, what I've been sort of obsessed with lately: TV: Storage Wars on A&E channel, not sure why I like it but I do. (the one character, not so much), movies - old and new, doesn't matter, as long as it's good; and a "mini-series" that was on PBS from the UK, called Foyle's War. Diners, Drive In's and Dives. Food: Ranier cherries! Can't get enough of them. Actually I have to pace myself because I could eat so many that I'd get sick. (I did this in 8th grade and pulled a Witches of Eastwick on my Grandmother) Also, Mary's Gone Crackers ( go to marysgonecrackers.com) Yummy. I'm loving my subscription to the Food Network Magazine. Great recipes! And last, I have to admit this, the Eve Dallas stories on audio book. The stories are by JD Robb who is the alter ego of, dare I say, Nora Roberts. They are so good. I'm listening to the latest and the actor who reads the series is fabulous with the voices. Amazing. This series would make a great movie or television series.

That's about it! Stay cool everyone.
