Eleanor's family

Just thought I'd drop in another picture from the photo shoot I did a couple weeks ago with little Eleanor and her family. This was my first real photo "shoot" per se and I've been having a great deal of fun working on the pictures and I'm so excited to show them to Eleanor's parents. It's amazing to take what seems like a fairly ordinary picture that you think is ok and then just do a couple tweaks in photoshop and viola you have a pretty cool photo! Hoping Eleanor's family enjoyed the experience as much as I did! Thank you for letting me get my feet wet with your beautiful girl.

And, on that note that's all for today. My brain is working but the fingers are not typing in sync so, keeping things short.

Happy Birthday Drew

I know I'm repeating the title here, but again, Happy Birthday Drew. I was torn between putting a baby picture here and one of my favorites from around age 10 but I opted to show everyone a recent picture. Fifteen years ago my nephew was born and what a day it was. When his older brother was born I had been living with my sister and brother in law as I was trying to save money to buy my first place. And even though I lived with them and drove them to the hospital, I was not able to participate much in the big day. Well, for Drew it was the opposite. My sister and Roger had arranged for me to be allowed in the delivery room which was just the greatest experience. Now, my sister was a little annoyed with us because she was not allowed to eat anything and this hospital had the greatest little coffee shop and both Roger and I were having these fabulous milkshakes. I know it was probably kind of cruel but, hey, we were hungry! With Quinn it was quite a long delivery as he was early. With Drew he was on-time and was a fairly simple and quick birth. He was one long baby which is still true today as he is pretty much going to be the tallest in the family (maybe my cousin's kid Jason is the tallest) but we'll see.

Drew, you are funny, sweet, charming, kind, and you always look out for the under-dog and I love you for it! Happy Birthday Dude!

Baby Eleanor

Last week I spent a wonderful couple hours with this adorable little princess, Eleanor. At two months old she's already a natural in front of the lens. She was so fun to spend time with and she sure did seem to know when I wanted her to smile. I'm in awe of her wonderful head of hair. And, I'll admit I have a little affinity for this little one as she has my Great Aunt's name as well as my mother's middle name. It's nice to get to know another Eleanor.

Check out a couple more pics in the photo section.

On another note, I apologize for being gone for the last couple weeks, we've been busy with the holidays but I'm getting back on track and you can expect regular updates from here on out!
And, lastly, Happy New Year to everyone!
