I'm so very excited that the weather is getting increasingly better. Wow, two weeks ago we had an 80 degree day and this week rain and in the 30's and 40's. But as we all know, spring in the Midwest is like that. This weekend it's supposed to rain and then not get nice till Monday and Tuesday. On the one hand it's a drag because I wanted to get out and do some yard work, and then again, it's kind of a blessing because then maybe I don't have to go outside and work all day long! Not that there's not enough to do inside. Honestly, in the summer, my house inside does not stay very clean because I'm outside so much. Not that I do well keeping on top of the cleaning anyway. I'm threatening to fire the maid, but wait, I'd have to fire myself. Now there's an idea.

On another note, I apologize for taking so long to add an entry, but it's been a long few weeks. I was sick for a full week and I still have a residual cough. This flu or whatever it is has been working it's way through our office building. From the first floor on up to the third. We will all be glad when it's done hitting everyone. I've also had company a few weekends and that's been keeping me busy. Then on top of it, work has been very busy, and we had our annual Celebrity Brunch Fundraiser that I was very very involved in. Fortunately that was a success!! And lastly, three messages here: To Teal, enjoy that new-to-you new car! Girls have fun in silver Jetta's!!! And, to Michelle, please please please stay focused on getting better. Move carefully and focus on your strength and please let your family take care of you. Rest, rest, rest!!! Finally, to Elaine, strength and prayers are being sent your direction. This new challenge will no doubt be met with your resolve, your focus, and determination to win! We are here for you.
